Spiritual faith

Unlike many of us here today, this isn’t Paul’s first time in church since the last wedding. On the contrary; Paul’s spiritual faith is his guide and it defines how he lives his life – courageously, selflessly and frequently at prayer (although that is the fate of every Sunderland fan…). Today, Paul has combined the two most important relationships in his life in the sacrament of marriage. Even those who don’t share his faith will agree that bringing Paul and Linda together was the work of a higher power. Paul, I want to thank you for being one of the most important relationships in my life – and to congratulate you on trusting in that higher power and waiting for a partner who’s beautiful both inside and out.
