Public sector

Paul enjoys working for the Civil Service. He favours the innovations that allow employees more latitude, such as flexi-time, where he can work over on one day and leave early on the next. Paul’s calculated that if he worked through his tea breaks for the next two years he’d be able to retire when he was 35. He also enjoys the social side. He plays darts, snooker and squash, there’s an amateur dramatics society he also get involved with … plenty to keep him occupied until it’s time to go home.

Paul should have no problem making sure we all get a slice of cake today. Working in the public sector, he’s all-too-familiar with efficiency cuts.
