Paul was born in June 1976, a year which saw the first ever team from the then Beazer Homes League qualify for the 5th round of the FA Cup. And here we are again, 37 years later, another no-hoper having done astonishingly well.

Paul was born in December 1973, in Bristol, where he spent most of his formative years. It is interesting to note that shortly after he was born, all Bristol hospitals were closed for fear that an infection causing male babies to have exceptionally small genitalia was spreading.
