How groom perceives bride

The first time I heard about Linda was the day after Paul met her. He called first thing in the morning to tell me that he’d met the girl of his dreams. I told him to calm down and play it cool, and to hold off for as long as possible on mentioning his collection of antique umbrellas.

I have always wanted the best for Paul and that’s why, when he told me about Linda, I knew she was The One. She has so many of the same core values and principles that he does; but I like her anyway.
