Reaction to the groom marrying

Linda, in marrying Paul today, has reinforced what I've always thought and lived by. That stalking, harassment and general unpleasantness will eventually pay off.

Imagine the shock I got when out of the blue Paul called me to say that he had gotten engaged, the things that go through a best friend’s mind. Mostly about mail order brides, one-way tickets from Thailand and subscriptions to Gay Connections Monthly. Then when I heard that it was Linda, I was filled with much relief and happiness.
