Summer wedding

When Paul told me they were getting married in the summer, he told me that ever since she was a little girl, Linda dreamed of a lavish outdoor wedding with garlands of roses on a warm summer day. Well, today her dream came true; though speaking as a man in a tux, an unseasonably cool summer day would have been an o.k. wish too.

Ladies and gentlemen, it almost goes without saying how pleased I am to be here today. In order not to dull your pleasure I intend to only speak for a few minutes in case we melt away in the heat! We couldn’t have wished for better weather – perfect sunshine, just the right start for a wedding day and honeymoon.
