Humorous take on bride & grooms relationship

Paul and Linda are so good together. And as one of his best friends, it’s so good to see that he’s found someone who he can be so relaxed around. I mean, he’s exactly the same person whether he’s out with Linda or out with the lads. Although a good evening out with Linda isn’t defined by whether he’s sick at the end of it.

The best analogy I can come up with which explains why these to work so well together is that of a jigsaw. Yes, they took time to come together, and yes, Paul's bits are rough around the edges, but today, now the puzzle has been completed, the result is a picture-perfect portrait of pure, unadulterated happiness. Or is it a jungle scene? I can't tell. Either way it's lovely.

There are many reasons why a couple is destined to be together; they have the same ambitions, they're the same level of attractiveness, they share the same interests. None of these apply to Fiona and James. He has no ambition, he's a five at best, and he has no interests aside from watching telly all night. But that last one is the key, because the reason these two were made for each other is that when they met, they were up to the exact same episode of Game of Thrones. And if that's not destiny, I don't know what is.
