On behalf of everyone here I would like to thank the bride and groom for inviting us to their wedding. While on the subject of gratitude, thanks are also due to the Pilgrim Park Hotel, which happens to be offering 20 per cent off mid-week mini-breaks during the whole of next month, plus a free bottle of wine for any couple dining on the mouth-watering cuisine in the award-winning restaurant. Availability is strictly limited and early booking is advised. Right, sorry about that - but I agreed that with them earlier in return for a free mini-bar in my room. |

I must, of course, congratulate the happy couple - not so much on getting hitched, but for choosing to have their wedding outside of the football season. I find there’s nothing worse than trying to keep up with the footy results during the course of the proceedings - a wedding can be such a distraction. |
